Trauma-informed care to support healing, balance, and well-being
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a passion for harnessing the brain's natural capacity for growth and healing to support clients seeking recovery from chronic pain, anxiety, and other forms of nervous system dysfunction.
My therapeutic approach meets each nervous system where it is, integrating Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and somatic techniques with Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as other trauma modalities such as Flash Technique and EMDR. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to meet the specific needs of each individual I work with.
In addition to providing therapy, I love to support other PRT practitioners seeking to further develop their skills for the benefit of those they serve. Providers interested in one-time or ongoing consultation are welcome to reach out.
Prior to starting my private practice, I worked at the tribal health consortium SEARHC, where I developed and led the organization's behavioral health pain program. I co-authored "The Pain Reprocessing Therapy Workbook" (New Harbinger, 2024), and I regularly present to providers from different disciplines on issues related to psychological treatment for chronic pain and other physical symptoms. I earned my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute, and my B.A. in Philosophy from Stanford University.
